Cruises to Oslo can be divided in two segments:
- Baltic cruises (ca. 50 % of passengers in Oslo) where Oslo is the only Norwegian port and St. Petersburg is the main destination.
- Norwegian cruises (ca. 50 % of passengers in Oslo) with visits to Bergen, the fjords and sometimes North Cape.
In 2013 Oslo had cruise tourists from 144 different nations. Passengers from Germany, USA, UK and Italy account for 55 %.
